  • If you need a laptop for home use for the upcoming eLearning Days, please make sure you return your signed Electronic Device Use Agreement Form to the Media Center by Friday, September 20.
  • Homecoming Contestants will meet Wednesday, September 18th in Ms. Bonds room (Room 224) right after school.
  • Student Council Officers will meet in Ms. Langston’s room (Room 119) at 3:10pm on Wednesday, September 18th. The General Meeting for Student Council members will be Friday, September 20th in the Media Center at 3:10pm.
  • The Interact Club meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday September 18th immediately after school in Ms. Pieterse’s room (room 221).
  • A College Bound Senior Meeting has been RESCHEDULED for Thursday, September 19th during 2nd block. Students must sign up in advance in order to attend.  
  • The Boys Basketball Team will have a Fundraiser Friday, September 20 during all three lunches with Yokohamas and Highway 55. Chicken bowls will be $5 and milkshakes will be $3.
  • The ASVAB will be administered on Wednesday, October 2. Any Junior or Senior interested in taking the ASVAB must register in the Guidance Office by Friday, September 27.
  • The PSAT will be administered on Wednesday, October 16th. Juniors interested in taking the PSAT, to possibly qualify for scholarship monies, must register in the Guidance Office by October 9th. The cost for the test is $17. Space is limited.
  • Prom Tickets are on sale! Please see Ms. Brown in Room 242 to purchase your tickets. Tickets are $25 for Students and $15 for Guests at this time. Prices will increase on September 30th.
  • Yearbooks are now on sale. The price for a standard yearbook is $70 or $77 which includes name stamping and four free icons (sales tax included). Stop by and see Mr. Walker in Room 116 for an order form or go to the school website and click on the Jostens link to purchase online. These prices will end on September 27th.
  • We now have an online option to join the Booster Club. Please see link below.

SPORTS

  • Congratulations to Caroline Baker for her win at #4 in Singles Tennis and to Catherine Wall and Kenlin McKenzie for their win at #2 Doubles Tennis. In JV Tennis play Anna Freeman won her singles match. The Team will travel to Academic Magnet TODAY for a match at 5:00pm.

  • The JV and Varsity Volleyball teams will meet Waccamaw at home TODAY. The JV game will begin at 5:00pm and the Varsity game will begin at 6:30pm.
