Bank of America
Bank of America is looking for the next generation of community leaders. As a student leader, you will participate in an eight-week paid internship at a local nonprofit where you will learn first-hand about the needs of your community and the critical role nonprofits play. Applicants must be currently be a junior or senior in high school and be able to participate in an 8 week paid internship at a local nonprofit organization and work 35 hours a week. Otto B. German Minority Male Initiative
The Otto B. German Minority Male Initiative will be held February 15-16, 2020 at The College of Charleston. This programs strives to empower, support and assist men of color in creating a strong foundation of success that you can build upon in the years to come. For more information, please see guidance. Deadline to apply is February 7, 2020.

Duke University Summer Session
Duke University will be offering three summer academy programs for high school students who will represent the next generation of leaders from around the world. The first summer program is from July 5, 2020 through July 31, 2020 and offers college credit for students currently in grades 10th and 11th. The second summer program offers 2 terms ranging from June 14, 2020 through July 31, 2020 and offers a non-credit course for students currently in grades 9-12. The third summer program is from June 21, 2020 through July 24, 2020 and is currently open to students in grades 9-12. For more information please stop by the guidance office. Washington University in St. Louis Summer Program
Washington University in St. Louis’s summer program is a five-week view of college life. This summer program will be held in three sessions. The 1st session will be Session A from June 7-July 11, 2020, Session B is from July 12-August 14, 2020 and session C will be held from June 7-August 1, 2020. During this summer program, students would live on campus, enroll in courses and study alongside college students. To be eligible, applicants must be a current high school sophomore or junior. Applicants must also have an academic average of B+ or better. They are also offering some other summer sessions for example Writing Institute, Pre-Medical Institute, and Ancient Discovery Institute.
