Welcome to the 2019-2020 School Year. Construction crews are busy putting the finishing touches on our building. Please read below for important information regarding the first day of school. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

Georgetown High School will open at 7:20 a.m. for students. On the first day of school, all freshmen are to report directly to the Auditorium upon arrival. Upperclassmen may enter the Student Center upon arrival and are to report to their homeroom class at the 7:50 bell. Homeroom rosters will be posted in the Student Center for those students who did not pick up their schedules during registration. Room numbers for Physical Education homerooms and some Career Center homerooms have changed, so those students need to check the posted rosters with the new room location. There will be many school personnel stationed around the school to assist students.

Parking - On the first day of school, underclassmen (11th, 10th, and 9th graders) are to park in the Student Lot on side of the school. Seniors are to park in the new lot in front of the school. All students who drive must purchase a parking permit at lunch from Ms. Voncennia Jones. The parking permit form is on the school website, and hard copies will be available in the Main Office. All students who purchased a parking permit during registration will be given their permit on the first day of school during 1st block or 2nd block.

Principal's Message

Welcome to another exciting school year at Georgetown High.  I am looking forward to our time together.

Although our primary focus is student academic achievement, Georgetown High School offers a variety of extracurricular activities.  I encourage all students to be involved.  Do not forget that we have opportunities for parents to be involved as well.

Once again, it is my pleasure to work with you during the 2019-2020 school year.  If I can be of assistance, please feel free to call, email, or come by.

Mr. Craig Stone
Principal, Georgetown High School
